Chair
Mohammed Razaq is a founder member of Sahaara Pathways, born in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, worked in retail business 1970-1995. Graduated (1997) with BA Business Administration (Majoring in Computing). Retired in 2022 as CEO of West Scotland Regional Equality Council. Served as elected Councillor with Glasgow City Council (2003-2017). Presently serving as Chair of Glasgow Central CAB, Treasurer of Vision Again Foundation and an Ambassador for both Queens Cross Housing Association and Age Scotland.

Raza Sadiq is renowned for his exceptional contributions to community development, sports, and inclusion. As the Chairperson of the Active Life Club, Raza brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in fostering equality and transforming communities. With a background as a career's adviser at Skills Development Scotland, he is dedicated to raising awareness of challenges faced by disadvantaged groups and advocating for fair and accessible services for all. His passion for promoting inclusivity and his commitment to driving positive change have earned him numerous accolades.

Dr Arshi Ilyas is a distinguished professional dedicated to community empowerment, education, and health awareness. With a doctorate in his field and extensive experience in leadership, he has played a pivotal role in developing inclusive programmes that address social, educational, and well-being inequalities. Throughout his career, Dr Ilyas has worked collaboratively with local authorities, academic institutions, and voluntary organisations to create opportunities that foster growth, equality, and resilience among diverse communities. His commitment to ethical leadership, social justice, and empowerment continues to inspire positive change and strengthen community cohesion.
